SOFTTECH A.S.(Teknokent Branch), Istanbul, Turkey February 2009 – Present

Project Manager in PMO
• Maintaining and driving projects to finish on time, on budget, on scope and on quality through managing and developing teams, based on CMMI pre-defined concepts.


• Taking the responsibility of P&L for mid and large scale projects

• Expertise in project risk managment and reflecting EMV to project financials.


Projects That I have Managed

• Redisgning Paying Office Screens Project: This project aimed to redesigning the screens that tellers use in branches and restructing workflow to release as much FTE as it can. The screens was java based applications that comminicates with host IBM MVS system. It took approximately 3 months with 3 project members, Its effort was 300 man/day

• Single Customer View(MS CCF): This project was an implemantation of MS product application(CCF) to ISBANK. I was co-project manager in this project. Main project manager came from Microsoft. After implementing with this product, teller in branches has got single sign on advantages and lots of appliactions could reach from single framework. So This is gained lots of time for each uniqe tellers by avoiding to input repetative information and single sign on. It took approximately 6 months with 3 project members(only Softtech employees)

• Internal Audit Risk Assesment project: This project was started at instance of Internal Audit department of Isbank. It is aimed to create an integred system that departmant could assign audit trials to its auditors based on approving system. Auditors could insert evidence that they finded in branches. Tracking the status of evidence wheter it was amended or not. Generting reports and tracking bracnhes for compliance of regularity requirments and internal control criteria. İt was developed on .NET framework using MS.NET integrated developing platform. It took approximately 6 months with 4 project members, Its effort was 770 man/day

• Electronic Application on Java Based Core Banking Screens: In Isbank Branches, some transactions that debit or checked from cash. If the amount in the transaciton exceeds predefined limit, İt must be approved by upper position. Somtimes manager of branch should be approved the transactions to amount of total. Before implementing the project, approval operation was on hard copy slip of that transaction. After the project, this transforms in electronic environment. Reporting, tracking and attorneyship attributes earned agility to employees. This project was developed on Java platform and screens comminates with MVS. It took approximately 8 months with 4 project members.

• Managment module of Merchants in Safir Program: This was a project in Safir Program. Safir was the program that contains different 14 projects on Credit Cards, POS, Merchants. This was an re-engineering project more than revisioning exsistance module. It was being developed on 3 tier architecture. One tier contained screens and main logic of application that was being developed on MS WPF. Other tier was on WPS that communicated with screens through BPEL which have been made workflows of bussines process in predefined workflows. Last tier was MVS system that supply needed info with web services . It took approximately 11 months with 14 project members, Its effort was 1000 man/day

• Human Resource Managment Module: In softTech, HR departmant had been making his work almostly manual except payroll system. I have participated in analyse process of project. We made lots of workshops to get requirment of HR. And finally, we created analysis document. It had got six modules(Employee tracking system,recruitment,edcuation requriments, perfomance tracking, Career Planning). I planned to sprial development model for this project. So that Each of cylce one module lived in the production system. It took approximately 7 months with 10 project members, Its effort was 446 man/day

• Commercial Loan Agreement: This project started aim of centrilization commerial loans workflows. So operational works could be transferred from sales reprentative in branches to operational employee. But When starting analyse, Bussines units decided, it was not cost effective on centrilization. So the project transformed reengineering process and redesigned the screens. It was being developed on 3 tier architecture. One of them that contains main logic wa MVS platform, the other plaftorm performs a middleware role to communicates screens and MVS, Java services. The client side was last platform on Intagred Desktop which was a platform on Chordiant application. It took approximately 12 months with 14 project members, Its effort was 1200 man/day
